Nick Hirsch & The Natural Disasters play rousing, sing along, original Texas music that twangs, grooves, and soothes. An exciting newcomer to the Texas music scene, Nick has taken a long and unexpected road to get here.
While in college, he split time as a baseball player, amateur pro wrestler, and acoustic performer at local bars and parties. After graduating, he took several long journeys through Spain and then Mexico, learning Spanish and flamenco guitar. Several years later, while in the mountains in Alaska, he survived a near fatal climbing accident that put his music career on hold.
After changing directions to become a Spanish teacher and then later on a Park Ranger, he came back to songwriting with a voice that was authentically his. While releasing his debut album “Full Moon Fools” in 2018, Nick was featured in an interview alongside Koe Wetzel on The Wolf 99.5’s Front Porch Show in Dallas TX. He also performed at the MardiGras Texas Style Music Festival that year, as well as opening up for Mike Ryan and the Randy Rogers Band at the Texas Country Music Festival 2018 in El Paso.
